Betty’s TV Room + Fire Place Nook

the Mission:

The Mission: First of all, WHAT AN UHHMAZING space, ammiright? Those high ceilings, those wood beams, the huge windows, and the VIEW!!! Look at all those trees!!! I mean… it’d be kind of impossible to ruin a space like this… but as you’ll see in the “Before” pictures… as pretty as it was, it needed some LIFE!!! It needed color, pattern, texture, and coziness… cuz this is where the fam of 5 watch movies… and of course the fireplace area too… that needed to be cozy and inviting… and even though it’s technically the same room, the two spaces needed differentiation.

CLIENT REQUIREMENTS:

Up the cozy/snuggle factor… like, turn. that. shit. UP! They had already purchased the sectional, the TV console, and the 2 chairs by the fireplace which left us a GREAT canvas to improve upon. The major styling we did came from the coat of paint (the decorator’s miracle elixir as I like to say – only not an elixir you drink… obvi) on the back wall, and then splashes of color and texture throughout the space… brought to you by the MANY awesome accessories curated from my favorite stores! It’s amazing what the 4 P’s did to this room, right? Paint, Pillows, Pictures, and Plants… and all those little accessories tucked here and there – it’s those details that make a room feel lived in and loved… and DAYUM, it came to life!! Ammmiright? Did I say ammmight too many times…?
