Behind the Scenes
Buckle up decor lovers, because this dining room makeover is serving WHOREganized elegance with a side of sentimental chic! This was the fourth room we’ve zhuzhed up for this client. Initially, wallpaper wasn’t her jam, but after we worked our magic on her office, she was fully wallpaper-converted. In fact, she found this gorgeously pagoda-tastic chinoiserie design herself! It checked every box: greens and blues for her palette, plus a nod to her dad with its whimsical ode to a beloved childhood poem. WHORE-motional much? Absolutely.
Now, let’s talk treasures, because every piece in this room is a family heirloom. From the dining table to the china cabinet, everything stayed—but got a fresh lease on life. We reupholstered the chairs in a sumptuous navy velvet (hello, luxe upgrade!). The chandelier brings just the right amount of glitz with its glass spheres, which—wait for it—harmonize perfectly with the glass lamps flanking the buffet. And that mirror? It’s working wonders, making the whole room feel like a palace. Don’t miss the ceiling-to-floor curtains with Greek key trim, tying in the geometric rug for a cohesive, “oh, she thought of everything” vibe. WHOREifyingly fabulous, wouldn’t you agree?
